Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery attend to the surgical solutions to all sorts of problems formed on the body surface. Even if the appearance is considered in these operations, the main purpose is to function the wounded and vestigial body parts.
The aesthetical surgery aims at reducing the effects of senility, rejuvenating or reshaping an unpleasant structure in the body. Surgeries in aesthetics (or cosmetics) are performed not to solve a medical problem but to allow the image of the body to get down to fine art.

The most frequent surgeries performed at the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetical Surgery Department of our Hospital include aesthetical nose surgeries, liposuction surgeries, augmentation mammoplasty, mastopexy or breast reduction surgeries, abdominoplasty and rhytidoplasty.
