Gynecology Oncology Surgery

We perform surgical treatment of cancer diseases occurring in women's reproductive organs in our Gynecological Oncology Surgery department. We evaluate the most appropriate treatment options for our female patients diagnosed with cancer in a multidisciplinary manner and apply the surgical treatment process that is appropriate for the patient.

The female reproductive organs are the ovaries, the uterus, the tubes that serve to carry the fertilized egg, the vagina and the vulva that limits the entrance to the vagina. Cancers that occur in the female reproductive organs are called gynecological cancers. The branch of science that studies cancers arising from these organs is the Gynecological Oncology sub-branch. Our physicians dealing with gynecological oncology and treating these diseases have knowledge on early diagnosis of such diseases, surgical treatment with advanced methods and treatment methods to be applied after surgery (such as radiation therapy, chemotherapy, hormonal treatments).
