Biography

Prof. Dr. Tahsin Görgülü was born in Konya in 1979. He graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2003. In 2004, he began his residency in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital. In 2009, he observed various renowned plastic surgeons' surgeries at New York University, Manhattan Eye Center, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital. He completed his specialization in 2010 and started his mandatory service at Karadeniz Ereğli State Hospital. In 2013, he was appointed as an assistant professor at Bülent Ecevit University, where he also served as the head of the department. In 2015, he obtained the FEBOPRAS title by passing the European Plastic Surgery Fellowship exam. In 2017, he became an associate professor. As of July 2023, he has commenced his duties in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Istanbul Okan University Hospital.
