Biography

After completing his education at Özel Darüşşafaka High School in 1984, he graduated as a medical doctor from Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1990. Following the completion of his specialization in Pediatrics, in 2008, he began his sub-specialization training in Neonatology at Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Education and Research Hospital. He completed his sub-specialization training in Neonatology with his thesis on the relationship between hyperglycemia and retinopathy in very low birth weight preterm infants. As a Neonatologist, he fulfilled his government service obligation at Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital. From 2013 to 2016, he served as the responsible physician for the Neonatology unit at Özel Medistate Hospital.

Specialization & Areas of Interest Premature infants, neonatal jaundice, and the follow-up of high-risk infants are his primary areas of interest.

Education He has participated in the NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) course. Foreign Language He is proficient in English.
