It is also recommended to check PSA in men over the age of 40 with a family history and in men over 50 who do not have risk factors. According to the tests performed, specialist doctors recommend a biopsy to determine whether it is benign or prostate cancer. A biopsy is performed rectally by ultrasound. According to the results of a biopsy, people suffering from prostate cancer are primarily undergoing tests to determine what condition the cancer is in. All tests are performed to indicate which stage the patient is at and which treatment program may give better results. For this, the results are quite important.

Treatment of Prostate Cancer

The treatment of prostate cancer that has been detected is determined according to the patient and the factors related to the disease, and the treatment process is determined. It is very important what the stage of the disease is, the age of the patient, their condition, and whether they have another disease.

As treatment for prostate cancer, it is determined as hormone therapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. Depending on this, the treatment is shaped by considering the general condition of the patient and the results.
