Biography

Dr. Rengin Çetin Güvenç graduated with honors from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 2007. In 2012, she completed her specialization in Cardiology at Dr. Siyami Ersek Chest Heart and Vascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital, becoming a Cardiology Specialist. Between 2012 and 2015, she served her mandatory service at Kars State Hospital. While working as a Cardiology Specialist at Istanbul Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital from 2015 to 2020, she concurrently conducted research on congenital heart diseases at Dr. Siyami Ersek Chest Heart and Vascular Diseases Hospital Pediatric Cardiology Clinic from 2017 to 2018. In 2018-2019, she worked at the University of Alberta in Canada in the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Unit and the Heart Failure clinics. In 2020-2021, she served as an Assistant Professor at Kırklareli University. In May 2021, she began her duties at Istanbul Okan University Hospital.

Echocardiography (2D and 3D TTE and TEE) and Stress Echocardiography
Advanced diagnosis and angiographic treatment of adult congenital heart diseases (Heart Defects - ASD, VSD, PFO, etc. - Aortic Coarctation, Bicuspid Aortic Valve, Aortic Diseases, etc.)

Diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of heart and vascular diseases that may be caused by chemotherapy and radiotherapy used in cancer treatment (Cardio-Oncology)

Diagnosis, advanced treatment, and follow-up of heart failure

Evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of heart diseases during pregnancy and post-pregnancy follow-up

Management and improvement of risk factors for cardiovascular diseases (Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Diabetes, etc.)

Medical and interventional treatments for coronary artery diseases (Coronary stent and balloon procedures)
