Prof. Nihat Özer M.D.

Prof. Dr. Nihat Özer Born on June 17, 1975, in Antalya, Turkey, Prof. Dr. Nihat Özer completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Antalya, graduating with honors from Manavgat High School. After graduating with distinction from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, he specialized in cardiology at the Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital.

From 1996 to 2000, he served as a Cardiology Assistant at Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital. From 2001 to 2010, he worked as the Chief Resident in Cardiology at the same center, and from 2010 to 2013, he held the position of Associate Professor of Cardiology. Between 2013 and 2015, he worked as a Cardiology Specialist-Associate Professor at the Memorial Healthcare Group Ataşehir Hospital. From 2015 to 2018, he continued his career at the same hospital as a Cardiology Specialist-Professor. In addition, he served as a Professor and Instructor at Okan University Faculty of Medicine. As of July 2018, Prof. Dr. Nihat Özer has been serving as the Head of the Department of Cardiology at Okan University Hospital.
