Biography

Prof. Dr. Hasan Hilmi Muratlı graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. In 1997, they specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology. In 2002-2003, they worked as an "Observer Fellow" at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States. They became an Associate Professor in 2006 and a Professor in 2013.

From 2010 to 2013, Dr. Hasan Hilmi Muratlı established the Orthopedics and Traumatology Education Clinic at Istanbul Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital, where they served as the Clinic Chief and were responsible for education and administration. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Faculty Member at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine. In June 2017, they served as a Faculty Member at Marmara University Pendik Training and Research Hospital.

Since 2018, Dr. Hasan Hilmi Muratlı has been serving as the President of the Pediatric Orthopedics Society. They have been heavily involved in the treatment of Developmental Hip Dysplasia, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy (CP), and foot, knee, and hip problems in children. Additionally, they perform prosthetic surgery for congenital hip dislocation in adults beyond infancy.

Dr. Hasan Hilmi Muratlı is a member of the European Pediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS) and has presented scientific research at numerous national and international meetings related to pediatric orthopedics. They have been honored with several awards for their achievements. Furthermore, since 2018, Dr. Hasan Hilmi Muratlı has been serving as the President of the Pediatric Orthopedics Society (ÇOD). Since 2021, they have been working at Istanbul Okan University Hospital.
