Biography
Born in Ankara in 1968. Received primary, secondary, and high school education in various cities across Turkey. Graduated from Mersin Dumlupınar High School in 1985. Completed medical studies at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine from 1986 to 1992. Completed specialty training at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital from 1993 to 1998. Following the completion of his specialization training, he worked at Bartın State Hospital from 1999 to 2001. In 2000, he conducted studies on hip arthroplasty at Lariboisiere Hospital in Paris, France, and in 2001, he worked on arthroplasty and arthroscopic joint surgery at Bassetlaw District General Hospital in England. From 2001 to 2003, he served at Kozan State Hospital, and from 2003 to 2012, he worked at Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital. From 2012 to 2021, he served at Istanbul Kartal Yavuz Selim State Hospital and Istanbul Tuzla State Hospital. Op. Dr. Ersin Kurtar, who has worked at several hospitals, started working in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Istanbul Okan University Hospital as of November 2022.
