Dr. Birol Sarkut Born in 1977 in Karabük, Turkey. Completed primary and middle school in Karabük, and attended high school at Istanbul Sarıyer Vehbi Koç Foundation High School. Graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2004. From 2004 to 2008, worked as an emergency physician and emergency service coordinator at Hisar Intercontinental Hospital, Sakarya Adatıp Hospital, and Medicana International Istanbul Hospital. Completed military service as a workplace physician at the Northern Naval Zone Command in 2008-2009. Between 2009 and 2011, served as the District Health Group Manager in Yozgat/Boğazlıyan while also working as a workplace physician at Boğazlıyan Sugar Factory. From 2011 to 2016, worked as an emergency service and intensive care physician at Bursa Heart Arrhythmia Hospital, and from 2015 to 2017, took on the role of a workplace physician at Magneti Marelli MAKO. Between 2017 and 2019, served as the Emergency Service Coordinator and Workplace Physician at Istanbul Adatıp Hospital. In 2019-2020, worked as an emergency service and neurorehabilitation service physician at Private NP Brain Hospital. In 2020, started working as an emergency service physician at Acıbadem Kozyatağı Hospital, and as of November 2020, Dr. Birol Sarkut has been serving as an emergency service and workplace physician at Istanbul Okan University Hospital.
