Biography

Prof. Dr. Ayşe Nimet Karadayı Born in Istanbul in 1955. Karadayı graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1981 and completed her specialization in the field of Medical Pathology at the same hospital. In 2014, she obtained the title of Associate Professor from the Interuniversity Board (ÜAK). In 2019, she was granted the title of Professor in the field of Medical Pathology at Istanbul Okan University. She served as a resident physician in the Pathology Department of Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine from 1981 to 1985. In 1985-1986, she completed her mandatory service at Bursa State Hospital. From 1986 to 1989, she worked as a Senior Assistant at Haseki Training and Research Hospital. She fulfilled her duties at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital from 1989 to 1993. Later, from 1993 until 2019, she served as the Clinical Chief at Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital. Since 2019, she has been holding the position of Department Head at Istanbul Okan University Faculty of Medicine.
