Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ziya Balta was born in Trabzon in 1972. He is married and has two children. Ahmet Ziya Balta, who graduated from Yokuslu Village Primary School in 1983, completed his education at Atatürk Primary School in 1986. He completed his education at Affan Kitapcioglu High School in 1989. He completed his undergraduate education at Gata Military Medical Faculty in 1996. He completed his General Surgery Specialization Training at Gata Haydarpaşa Training Hospital in 2006. Ahmet Ziya Balta, who took charge in many hospitals, started to work at Istanbul Okan University Hospital as of March 2023.
